Proxy List Download, txt, CSV, and API in Your Preferred Format

Socks5Proxy lets you download purchased datacenter/ISP proxy lists in 6 .txt/.csv formats or via REST API. Lists appear in your dashboard immediately after payment.

What Is a Proxy List?

A proxy list is a file with one proxy per line that you’ve purchased. Crawlers, automation tools, anti-detect browsers, and account management programs typically load these lists to rotate proxies or assign one per account.

Proxy tools require specific formatting. Socks5Proxy pre-generates common formats so you can use lists immediately without editing.

Manually editing lists often leads to errors - missing just one colon can make tools skip the entire line. Downloading in the correct format from the start prevents mistakes, and when you buy a new plan, simply redownload in the same format.

What proxy list formats are available?

Choose from these formats in the My Proxies dashboard or API. Selecting HTTP includes HTTP ports; SOCKS5 includes SOCKS5 ports.

You can change the format and download it again anytime. Even if you download the same plan list as an http:// file for crawlers and a socks5:// file for browsers, the IPs and account details remain identical.

Where Can You Download Proxy Lists?

After payment, the IP list appears immediately on the My Proxies screen in the dashboard. Choose the format, protocol, country, and plan, then download as .txt or .csv. If you purchased multiple plans, you can download them as one file or separately by plan or country.

Proxy lists scroll within fixed-height tables. Each row has a copy button for quick use without file downloads.

Filenames include format and date, making it easy to identify the latest version. CSV files include column headers for instant spreadsheet viewing.

Filter lists by country, plan, or expiry - then download selections (e.g., US-only dedicated ISP IPs as CSV for account matching).

How to fetch proxy lists via API?

Create API keys in the dashboard. Keys are displayed only once - store them securely. Lost keys can be regenerated, and new keys instantly disable old ones.

Two endpoints: /proxies returns JSON (IP, port, credentials, country, city, expiry); /proxies/download delivers line-formatted text. Both filter by country and protocol.

Use API keys (not account tokens) for API calls. Account tokens are only for dashboard login - API keys are for programmatic access (e.g., listing proxies), so leaked keys won't compromise your account. All requests must use HTTPS.

curl -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" \
  "https://socks5proxy.io/api/v1/proxies/download?protocol=http&format=ip:port:user:pass"

How does the proxy list change with IP auth?

IP authorization whitelists your server's public IPv4 in the dashboard, allowing password-free connections from up to 10 registered addresses.

With IP auth, proxy lists work in ip:port format without credentials - ideal for shared configs. For mobile workstations, username/password auth may be more practical.

Register the public IPv4 of your connecting server/computer, not the proxy IP. Find and add your public IP in the dashboard's IP authorization section.

Tips for Loading Proxy Lists into Tools

  • Account operation tools can import CSV files to pair accounts and IPs in one table, simplifying management.
  • Crawlers accept http:// format and rotate to the next proxy for each request.
  • Anti-detect browsers accept the socks5:// format - add one line per profile.
  • For country-split tasks, filter by country to download separate files per location.
  • New plans add fresh IPs to the same API endpoints - always download an updated list before starting tasks.

What Information Is Included in Proxy Lists?

Each line contains IP, HTTP/SOCKS5 ports, credentials. CSV/JSON add country code, city, and expiry. Available countries: Datacenter 47, ISP 19.

All IPs are IPv4 and remain static throughout your plan period. Saved proxy lists can be reused until expiration.

Our JSON lists include plan types, letting your program handle shared/private/dedicated IPs differently (e.g. dedicated IPs for account logins, shared IPs for public page scraping).

For tools using older lists: expired plan IPs won't connect - replace them with fresh lists. API downloads eliminate manual updates.

How to Securely Store Proxy List Files?

The list file containing usernames and passwords is equivalent to account information. Avoid sharing it in public repositories or chat rooms visible to many people. Instead, store it in your server's configuration folder or a secret management tool.

For proxy details in code repositories, enable IP authorization and use ip:port format. Without passwords, only your whitelisted servers can connect even if exposed.

Handle API keys the same way. If exposed, generate a new key in the dashboard to instantly disable the old one.

How can I check all connections at once after getting the list?

Easiest method: Send requests to IP check addresses from each line in your list. Matching response IP confirms working connection. Short scripts like this cURL loop can verify hundreds in minutes.

Avoid excessive concurrent connections. For shared plans, stay under 500 concurrent checks. If connections fail, verify port (HTTP/SOCKS5) and authentication settings.

while read p; do
  echo "$p $(curl -s -m 15 -x "$p" https://api.ipify.org)"
done < proxies.txt

What Do You Need to Purchase to Receive Proxy Lists?

List downloads and API are included in all plans. Shared datacenter starts at 100 IPs (from $0.0179/IP/month). ISP, private, and dedicated plans follow the same structure.

Sign up with your account token, top up your balance, and purchase a plan to immediately generate a list. Minimum top-up amount: $30.

Even if you purchase multiple types of plans, the lists are consolidated in one place. If you want separate lists for shared datacenter and dedicated ISP proxies, apply plan filters before downloading. For a single file, download without filters.
