Proxy FAQs: Products, setup, payments, API guide

We sell datacenter and ISP (static residential) proxies. Each comes in shared (max 3 users), private (max 2 users), and dedicated (single user) types - 6 products total. All are monthly or yearly IP-based plans.

Datacenter proxies are ideal for tasks prioritizing speed and IP count, like large-scale crawling, ranking checks, and testing. ISP proxies are better for shopping sites or social media accounts requiring residential-like fixed IPs.

ISP proxies are static residential proxies. The IPs are registered to residential ISP ranges but hosted in datacenters, appearing as home users while offering fast speeds and unchanging IPs throughout your subscription.

Shared plans limit IPs to max 3 users with managed bandwidth/concurrency for fair speeds. Use dedicated plans for exclusive IP needs.

Minimums: 100 shared datacenter IPs, 20 shared ISP, 10 private/dedicated. Largest plan: 100,000 shared datacenter IPs. Volume discounts apply.

Datacenter IPs cover multiple countries (US, UK, Germany, Japan, Singapore, etc.), while ISP IPs include US, UK, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, etc. Shared datacenter plans also offer mixed-country pools. See the locations page for full lists.

All our proxies currently use IPv4. Since most websites and tools operate on IPv4, you can use them without compatibility concerns.

Purchased IPs remain the same throughout your plan period. You can use the same IP for long-term tasks or bind accounts to specific IPs.

No. All proxies support both SOCKS5 and HTTP (including HTTPS CONNECT). Each proxy line has separate HTTP and SOCKS5 ports - simply use the port matching your tool.

Socks5Proxy SOCKS5 relays TCP connections - ready for web, APIs, browser automation, databases, and SSH.

There are two authentication methods: username/password and IP authorization. For IP authorization, you can register up to 10 IPv4 addresses of your server in the dashboard, allowing connections from these addresses without a password.

ip:port:user:pass, user:pass@ip:port, ip:port (for IP authorization), socks5://user:pass@ip:port, http://user:pass@ip:port, available in CSV format. Download as .txt or .csv files or via API.

Yes. Python requests uses proxies, Node.js uses proxy agents, and cURL uses -x. See our guides for language-specific examples.

Yes. Launch browsers with proxy server addresses and auth credentials. IP authorization simplifies setups where passwords are cumbersome.

First, check the remaining duration of your plan, ports (distinguish between HTTP and SOCKS5 ports), username, and password. If using IP authorization, also check if the server’s IP is registered in the dashboard.

USDT (TRC20, BEP20, ERC20, Solana), USDC (BEP20, ERC20, Solana), BTC, ETH, BNB, SOL, LTC (12 options). Top-up screen shows deposit address/exact amount after selecting method.

Top-up limits: min $30, max $10,000 (per transaction). Some regions may have $20 minimum amount based on your connection country.

Bonuses are automatically applied: +20% for $100+, +25% for $200+, +30% for $300+, +35% for $500+, +40% for $1,000+, +45% for $3,000+, and +50% for $5,000+. The bonus is added to your balance upon top-up confirmation.

Unique transaction amounts help distinguish multiple applications. Send exact specified amounts for automatic matching.

Each request is valid for 60 minutes. After expiration, create a new request with updated quantities.

Balance is service credit for plans, not withdrawable. We recommend topping up as needed.

The 12-month plan gives you an extra 30% off the already discounted bulk rate. For long-term projects, the annual plan is the most cost-effective.

Signup generates an SPX- account token. Copy it or save as .txt - this single token serves as your login credential.

The server only stores token hashes, so we can't show your token again. If logged in, you can generate a new token in your account settings. Always store tokens securely.

You can create up to 3 accounts per IP. For managing multiple tasks, purchasing multiple plans under one account is also convenient.

Create an API key in the dashboard and include Authorization: Bearer in request headers. Base URL: https://socks5proxy.io/api/v1. Endpoints: balance (/account), plans (/plans), proxy lists (/proxies), and downloads (/proxies/download).

Yes. API keys are shown only once upon creation. Create new keys in the dashboard as needed - old keys are immediately invalidated.

Yes. Use /proxies/download with format and protocol (http/socks5) to get text lists. /proxies filters by country/protocol for JSON output.

Failed or unissued plans receive full refunds to your balance, which can immediately fund other purchases.

All refunds are credited to account balance for service use, not withdrawal.

Use 1:1 support in the dashboard. Available for accounts with at least one top-up. Inquiries are linked to your account and plan for faster resolution.

Balance updates after blockchain confirmations (BSC 15, ETH 12, BTC 2, LTC 6, SOL final). Verify exact amounts/addresses. Contact support via dashboard if delays occur.

Use for all legitimate tasks: web crawling, price monitoring, search ranking checks, managing e-commerce/social media accounts, ad verification, market research, and testing apps/websites across countries.

Spamming, attacking other systems, fraud, distributing illegal content, and infringing others’ rights are prohibited. Such activities may result in account suspension.

We only store the hash of the account token, the hash key of the sign-up IP, device type, language, first visit path, balance, and order history. We do not collect names or contact information.

HTTPS maintains end-to-end encryption between your program and destination - proxy servers only relay connections without viewing content.
