Socks5Proxy

Buy datacenter proxies, SOCKS5 and HTTP by IP

Socks5Proxy sells three types of datacenter proxies (shared/private/dedicated) per IP count. All IPs support HTTP, HTTPS, and SOCKS5. Available in 47 datacenter and 50 total countries.

What is a datacenter proxy?

Datacenter proxies lease IPs from server/hosting providers. Your device connects to websites via these proxy servers, masking your real IP with the datacenter’s IP.

Datacenter IPs run on fast, stable infrastructure. Ideal for high-volume tasks like crawling, price scraping, rank tracking, and automated testing - where speed and volume matter. Faster than residential proxies with consistent IPs for simpler setups.

Socks5Proxy datacenter proxies have separate HTTP/SOCKS5 ports per IP - use HTTP for crawlers and SOCKS5 for other programs on the same IP.

How do shared, private, and dedicated datacenter proxies differ?

All three types use the same datacenter IP pool but differ in user sharing. Fewer users per IP means cleaner reputation at slightly higher prices.

Shared datacenter proxies (max 3 users/IP) offer the lowest per-IP cost for mass scraping. Private (max 2 users) and dedicated (1 user) suit logins or persistent sessions.

TypeUser per IPStarting price per IP/monthPlan sizeBandwidthConcurrent connections
Shared datacenterMax 3 users$0.0179100 ~ 100,0001 TB per month included500
Private DatacenterMax 2 users$0.468010 ~ 1,000UnlimitedUnlimited
Dedicated datacenter1 account$0.840010 ~ 1,000UnlimitedUnlimited

How much do datacenter proxies cost?

Price = Monthly rate per IP × IP count × months. The smallest shared datacenter plan is 100 IPs starting at $0.0179 USD/month per IP. Private datacenter starts at $0.4680, dedicated datacenter at $0.8400 USD/month.

The larger the plan, the lower the cost per IP. Depending on the plan size, you can get up to 40% off, and choosing a 12-month annual payment gives you an additional 30% discount. For example, a shared datacenter plan with 1,000 IPs is definitely cheaper per IP compared to a 100 IP plan. You can see the exact price instantly on the pricing page by selecting the number of IPs and the duration.

Payments are deducted from your account balance. First, top up your balance, then choose your desired plan - it will be deducted from your balance, and the proxy list will be issued immediately. Larger top-ups include a bonus added to your balance.

Choose between 1-month or 12-month plans. The duration starts from the moment of payment, and you can use the same IP list until the plan expires. Annual plans offer a 30% discount when paid upfront.

Add more IPs anytime by purchasing additional plans - new IPs appear in the same dashboard list. Use a single API key to retrieve all proxies across multiple plans.

Which countries offer datacenter IPs?

Datacenter IP countries: 47. US cities: New York, Ashburn, Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago, Miami, Seattle. Europe: UK, Germany, Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, Poland, Sweden. Asia: Japan, Singapore, India, Thailand, Indonesia. Also Australia, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, South Africa, Egypt.

Shared datacenter plans offer mixed-country or single-country pools. Mixed pools maximize IPs for global scraping; single-country pools target localized results.

What are datacenter proxies used for?

Datacenter proxies are fast and cost-effective for high-request tasks. Common uses for developers/data teams include:

  • Web crawling/scraping: Gather public product data, news, real estate listings, or job postings across distributed IPs.
  • Price monitoring: Check prices on e-commerce and travel sites at scheduled intervals
  • Rank Checking: Verify your site's position in country-specific results.
  • Automation Testing: Verify how pages appear in different countries using Selenium, Puppeteer, and Playwright.
  • Distribute API requests: Spread calls to IP-restricted public APIs across multiple proxy IPs.
  • Ad & Content Verification: Check ad, banner, and content exposure differences by country.

Which should I choose: datacenter or ISP proxies?

Datacenter proxies use IPs registered to hosting providers. While most websites accept them, some e-commerce/social platforms scrutinize hosting IPs more closely. For long-term account management on such sites, static residential ISP proxies are better.

For large-scale public data collection, datacenter proxies offer better cost and speed efficiency. Many customers combine shared datacenter proxies for scraping with dedicated ISP proxies for login tasks - both manageable through the same dashboard and API.

How do I connect to my purchased datacenter proxy?

After payment, the IP, HTTP port, SOCKS5 port, username, and password appear line by line on the My Proxies screen in the dashboard. Use these values in crawler, browser, or automation tool proxy settings for immediate connection.

Choose between two authentication methods: username and password works anywhere, while IP authorization allows connections from up to 10 IPv4 addresses stored in the dashboard without a password. IP authorization is convenient for programs or browsers where entering passwords is difficult.

Lists support ip:port:user:pass, user:pass@ip:port, socks5://, http:// formats, or direct REST API retrieval.

curl -x socks5h://USER:PASS@IP:SOCKS_PORT https://api.ipify.org

How can I use datacenter proxies securely?

Proxies must be used legally. Spamming, attacks, fraud, and illegal content access violate our ToS and may result in account suspension. When scraping, respect target sites' terms and request rates.

Space requests appropriately and route failed attempts through alternate IPs to keep individual IPs clean longer. Shared plans support up to 500 concurrent connections - consider private or dedicated plans for higher throughput needs.

How fast and stable are datacenter proxies?

Datacenter proxies operate on high-capacity, redundant infrastructure. Unlike residential connections, speeds don’t drop during peak hours, and reboots don’t disrupt overnight scraping jobs.

Latency depends on distances between your server, proxy, and target. Use Ashburn/NY IPs for US sites, Frankfurt/Amsterdam for EU sites, or match proxy locations to your servers.

Shared plans (1TB/month + 500 connections) suffice for text-heavy scraping. Private/dedicated plans better handle large files (images/videos).

What should I know when coding a crawler with datacenter proxies?

Even with many IPs, overloading requests to a single IP will get it restricted first. Distribute requests evenly across IPs and add delays between requests to the same site for cleaner, longer-lasting usage.

Rotate to next IP on failure rather than retrying immediately. Temporarily retire IPs showing consecutive 403/429 errors. This rotation logic can be implemented in Python, Node.js, or Scrapy with few lines - see tool-specific examples in our guides.

Download lists via dashboard, but API fetches ensure newly purchased IPs are included automatically.

How do I purchase datacenter proxies?

Sign up with your account token, top up your balance, then select the type, country, number of IPs, and duration on the purchase screen. Minimum top-up amount: $30. You can use 12 payment methods, including USDT.

After purchase, your proxy list is issued immediately. Download it from the dashboard or fetch it via API. If payment is complete but proxies aren't issued, the amount is refunded to your balance.
